Epiphany Integrated Communications

Rethink to Business Unusual! Utilizing Session Initiated Protocol (SIP), Buckeye TeleSystem offers Hosted Stations, SIP-based Business Lines and SIP Trunks under the Epiphany brand. Any Epiphany service within Buckeye’s core service area has an expanded local calling area, based on the customer’s location. For NE/NW Ohio customers, the local calling area includes the entire 326 LATA. For S/SE Michigan customers can enjoy local calling to the entire 340 LATA.

Hosted Stations

Similar to IP-Centrex, Hosted Stations offer full features and functionality of high-end PBX systems without the need for purchasing or maintaining any equipment. Hosted Stations deliver high-quality, reliable voice service over Buckeye’s private IP network, or can be connected utilizing a 3rd party private or public Internet connection. Multiple locations can now 4-digit dial between offices, no matter where they are physically located. Administrator and End-User web-portals are available to offer users the ability to configure their service to fit their exact needs. Hosted Stations are available in 3 packages: Basic, Enhanced, and Premium, with upto 75 features available such as simultaneous ring, Reach Me, Selective Call Forward and Call Forwarding Based on Time of Day. Hosted Stations can be deployed anywhere across the globe where a broadband Internet connection is available. Where ELS is available, local numbers can be assigned or ported. Where ELS is not available, a number from a Buckeye TeleSystem rate center can be deployed to allow for private extension to extension calling, regardless of location eliminating LD toll. (Note, 911 service would not be available if a phone is deployed outside of a Buckeye rate center and ELS is not used). Ala carte features include Basic ACD and Web Attendant (Receptionist). SIP Trunks:

Offering a true IP connection from a premise-based system to the PSTN, SIP Trunks can connect to virtually any premise-based PBX using the following hand-offs: Ethernet/RJ-45; PRI or FX-0/FX-S. SIP trunks are sized to the exact Simultaneous Call Session (SCS) required. To determine bandwidth size, multiply SCS by 95Kbps. Customers within Buckeye’s core service area have local calling to the 326 LATA (NW/NE Ohio area) or 340 LATA (S/SE Michigan area). Learn more at www.thatsbusinessunusal.com.

SIP-Based Business Lines

SIP-based Business lines can utilize an IP connection (public or private) to provide business-class voice service. When combined with ELS, SIP-based Business Lines can be offered to virtually anywhere in the continental United States. As with traditional business voice, SIP-based Business Lines offer the same 3 packages and features: Business Lines, Essential Business Lines and Premium Business Lines.
